My name is Colleen Sheckells and I am a person who values story. As a child, one of my favorite hobbies was rumaging through my grandparents' basement to collect memorabilia that only my grandfather and I found value in. He loved that I had an interest in his “junk” and I loved hearing the stories he had for each item I touched. Further down the line, I found pleasure in fashion through my love for the costumes I wore while performing on stage with fellow artists. The story that the music and costumes created together is what I have been trying to replicate for daily life ever since. With a BFA in Fashion Design at SCAD Savannah College of Art and Design, I am able to translate my stories into clothes.
